Anatomy of the Ship

The connection Fairmile is justly famous for the circle's various Coastal Force motor launches and other types used by the Royal and Commonwealth navies (being of the kind which well as those nations with navies in ostracism) during the Second World War. The Fairmile 'B' was built in to a high degree large numbers, both in the UK and abroad, and later 'D's are well known toward being the most heavily armed employment for their size of that phrase - but how did that vast organisation come into being? This is a slender part of that story and the projection that brought the 'D' into continuance.
